IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2021: The Institute for Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will be conducting the IBPS Clerk 2021 Prelims exam on December 12, December 18, and December 19, 2021 in online mode across different venues in India. IBPS released the admit card on November 26, 2021 for the IBPS Clerk 2021 Prelims exam for recruitment of 7,858 vacancies of candidates in the clerical cadre of public sector banks under CRP Clerks-XI drive. IBPS Clerk 2021: Selection Process

The recruitment to the post of Clerks in banks is carried out in three phases through a rigorous process. The selection process for clerical cadre involves:

IBPS Clerk Cut Off 2021

The IBPS Cut Off is declared by the IBPS itself after the release of results for prelims and mains exams. The Cut off marks are different for prelims and mains exams.

(i) Candidates need to qualify each section in the Prelims by obtaining minimum cut-off marks.

(ii) Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the online Mains exam and also a minimum total score to be considered for further process.

(iii) Depending on the number of State/ UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment.

The cut off is decided on the basis of the following factors:

(i) Total Number of Vacancies

(ii) Number of candidates appearing for the exam

(iii) Difficulty Level of Exam

IBPS Clerk 2021: Provisional Allotment & Merit List

Candidates who obtain cut off marks in the Prelims exam get shortlisted for the Mains exam and those who obtain cut off marks in Mains exam get selected for the Provisional Allotment. However, for the final merit list, marks obtained by candidates in Mains exam will only be considered.

The total marks allotted for the IBPS Clerk Mains exam is 200 marks. The marks obtained by a candidate will be converted out of 100 for Provisional Allotment.

IBPS Clerk 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Have a look at the eligibility criteria for IBPS Clerk post including the age limit and educational qualifications below:

Educational Qualification

(i) Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline from a Recognised University or any equivalent qualification.

(ii) Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT for which a candidate applies is preferable.

(iii) Computer Literacy is mandatory for candidates. They should have the required working knowledge for operating computer systems. Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations

(iv) Candidates who would obtain the educational qualification from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by the Government of India and the final result should have been declared on or before October 27, 2021.

Age Limit

The Minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years as on July 1, 2020. However, there is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates. Have a look:
