RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process cash application in ERP system
  • Research and resolve discrepancies on accounts for refunds or adjustments
  • To ensure payments are posted accurately and timely
  • Handle write offs for invoices
  • Research and solve all pending adjustments cases to reconcile at closing periods
  • Investigate misapplied payments to correct and ensure proper allocation
  • Sort lock box receipts and post accordingly
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Learn the Lawson accounting system
  • Understand our General ledger
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • To keep a close track of Unapplied cash and to clear in stipulated timelines
  • Timely follow up of unapplied cash

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 plus years of accounts receivable experience
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and working in different currencies
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Proficient in data entry
  • ERP experience, Lawson preferred
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Skilled in organizing and prioritizing
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of dealing with confidential data
  • Excellent communication skills
