Project Green Hands (PGH), the environmental branch of Isha, has grown out of a deep concern for the global effects of deforestation and land degradation. PGH wants Tamil Nadu to be a beacon of environmental responsibility, illustrating what is possible when people take action now to save their environment.
AYUSH-Isha Organic Health Systems is a pioneering project launched by Isha Outreach in collaboration with the government of India’s AYUSH department. The holistic programs are aimed at improving the health of the rural population, while simultaneously ensuring a model of sustainable healthcare.
Purpose of the Job
Review and authorize the Legal Aspects, Annual Return Filing, Agreements, MoU with donor and team coordination.
Job Responsibilities
1. Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards and make sure financial legal requirements are met 2. Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. 3. Legal aspects, annual return filing, agreement, MoU with donor etc. 4. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual project costs. 5. Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities. 6. Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts. 7. Team coordination and Communication with other Department
Required Competencies
Educational Qualification : Master Degree
Skill Competencies : 1. Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role 2. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization and including executive 3. Good knowledge in excel, PowerPoint, tally and accounting software 4. Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail 5. Strong verbal and written communication skills
