Job Description :
This position will be required to manage Monthly/Quarterly/Annual close activities for UKG International entities (APAC region). In addition, person will be required to support Annual Statutory audits and respond to external consultants & Corporate team queries to prepare and file Company Financials and Annual Direct Tax Returns. The job responsibilities also require knowledge of ANZ Indirect Taxes knowledge and prior experience in preparing and filing various periodic Indirect Tax Returns. This position will be based out of UKG Noida office in India and will report to the Sr. Finance Manager in Noida.
Responsibilities
1. Analyze and prepare journal entries and reconciliations for various accounts including accruals, prepaids, leases and other assets for the ANZ region
2. Timely Monthly/Quarterly/Annual accounting books closure
3. Assist with external US GAAP audits in the ANZ region and coordinate with all stakeholders involved in the audit process
4. Assist with Statutory accounting process and support ANZ audits & Tax/VAT audits including coordination and follow up with stakeholders involved the audit process
5. Collaborate with Corporate Teams & External consultants to respond queries related to preparation & filing of Company Financials & Direct Tax Returns
6. Prepare and submit monthly reconciliation in Blackline tool and provide quarterly BS Flux commentary
7. Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate intercompany accounting
8. Assist with the implementation of best in class accounting processes
9. Help drive process improvement initiatives by applying strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications 1. 6-8 years of Accounting work experience for the ANZ region including ANZ statutory accounting preparation knowledge
2. Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or Finance
3. Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and strong analytical skills
4. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must
5. Oracle experience a plus
6. Ability to embrace technology and change
7. Strong people and customer service skills, advocate positive working relationships among internal and external customers
8. Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual
9. Prior experience working remotely with a US multinational company would be a plus
