Job Description:

Enhances attorney effectiveness by
providing information management support; representing the attorney to clients
and others

Job Duties:

·
Responsible
for reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence,
reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents; collecting and
analyzing information; organizing conferences, and attorney meetings;
scheduling couriers, court reporters, expert witnesses, and other special
functions; coordinating preparation of charts, graphs, and preparing expense
reports, case preparation

Maintains
attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences,
dispositions, recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings and
filing requirements; monitoring evidence-gathering; anticipating changes in
litigation or transaction preparation requirements.

·
Represents
attorney by communicating and obtaining information; following-up on delegated
assignments; knowing when to act and when to refer matters to attorney.

·
Provides
historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems;
recording meeting discussions; maintaining transcripts; documenting and
maintaining evidence.

·
Enhances
department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing
new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job
accomplishments.

Job Specifications:

·
Should
update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading
professional publications; maintaining personal networks

·
Should have knowledge of commercial
contracts and must be to handle legal aspects of SRA & redevelopment
projects

·
Should be able to apply legal, business, and analytical skills
to all legal matters

·
Should be able to draft sale agreements,
affidavits, power of attorney, etc.

·
Should be able to help the due
diligence, screening of documents, search, and statuary compliances to mitigate
possible risks

·
Strong
command over written and spoken English with strong negotiation skills and
interpersonal skills

·
Must have a Bachelors / Master of Laws
degree
