Trans Compliance Coordinator

  • Assemble and analyze information, prepare reports, manuals, agendas, and correspondences.
  • Generate and maintain data and reports. Consult with co-workers and provide structure and effectiveness in the development of
  • compliance programs, policies, and procedures with the least amount of impact on the operations.
  • Work to develop a thorough working knowledge of federal, state, local, and provincial transportation regulations, hazardous material regulations, federal, state, local, and provincial permitting requirements (hazardous, solid, special, medical and operating authorities), and all related record-keeping and reporting.
  • Has input and development of process to reduce processes to paperless system.
  • Set-up, organize, and maintain the office filing system including confidential data.
  • Work as back up for each individual position for work backlog, vacation, and sick leave, personal time, etc. minimizing necessary overtime.
  • Interface with a variety of people on both routine and complex issues.
Job Summary:

  • provide administrative support in the office workflow, that may include but not be limited to the processing and management of driver qualification files.
  • Provide light truck authorizations, citation/violation processing, record-keeping and reporting, hours of service compliance, Trip & Dispatch, International Fuel Tax review.
  • permit acquisition activities requiring a thorough knowledge of Federal, state, and provincial regulatory requirements.
