What is the Selection Procedure in RPF?
Candidates who have applied or wish to do so should know the selection procedure and their suitability for the RPF posts. Those who fulfil the age, education, and physical standard criteria will have to go through the following three stages to secure a job in the RPF.

CBT Exam Pattern
The RPF CBT will include three sections viz. Basic Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness. Candidates will have 90 minutes to attempt the CBT. All questions will be of objective type i.e. MCQs. There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd marks. So candidates must work on their speed and accuracy for RPF exams.

Know the Syllabus
- The CBT syllabus contains three subjects i.e. Basic Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness.
- Check the detailed notification for the detailed syllabus for each of these subjects.
- Analyze each topic and note down your strengths and weaknesses.
- Make a well-thought-out plan to cover each topic at least 3 times before the exam.
- Start from the basic concepts first and move on to the advanced and rigorous practice on that topic.
- Repeat each covered topic at a gap of 2-3 days, then a week, and then once a month to retain what you have learned.
