The Ministry of Railways has released the official notification for 452 vacancies in the post of Sub Inspector in the Railway Protection Force and the Railway Protection Special Force. The notification was made public on 14th April 2024 under the centralized notice 01/2024. Candidates can fill out the RPF SI Application Form 2024 from 15th April to 14th May 2024 on the official website at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in. RPF SI 2024 Application Fee

The candidates belonging to the SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities and Extremely Backward Class categories will have to pay Rs. 250 and those belonging to the UR and OBC categories will be charged Rs. 500 to successfully submit the RPF SI 2024 Application Form. The official notification provides the following additional details regarding the application fee that will be submitted by the candidates.

• Out of this fee of ₹ 500/- applicable to the candidates belonging to the UR and OBC categories, an amount of Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.
• For the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities and EBC categories, the fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.

Modes of Application Fee Payment

The recruitment notice also provides the candidates with the ways in which they can submit the online application fee. The details regarding the payment modes can be summarised as follows.

• ONLINE fee payment only through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted. All applicable service charges shall be borne by the candidate.
• The fee can be paid by the candidates through ONLINE mode only. There will be no option to pay fees through any other mode.
• Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
