Pradhan Mantri National Apprenticeship Mela (PMNAM) will be held on May 8 in more than 250 districts across the country. The PMNAM will help the youths to shape their careers with the participation of several local businesses. The PMNAM is being conducted by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
To register for the mela and to find the nearest location, students can visit – apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Only degree or diploma holders, class 5 to class 12 pass-outs or candidates with relevant skill training certificates, or ITI certificate holders are eligible to apply. The location will also be available at – dgt.gov.in/appmela2022.
The PNMAM has invited organisations and several local businesses to provide training to the youth. Many sectors will be represented in this mela by various companies.
Apprenticeship melas are held on every second Monday of the month throughout the year. The selected individuals are also given a monthly stipend according to the government’s criteria.
