Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing The primary objective of this position is to drive planning, analysis and internal management reporting (MIS) around OPEX, COGS, CAPEX and Headcount. You will own key piece of budget of corporate spending. As such you will be responsible for end-to-end planning, analysis and internal management reporting. You will play a key role in quarterly books close activities by performing deep-dive analysis and ensure that management information is accurate and reflects the performance of the business. You will analyze financial information and prepare relevant financial reports to keep management informed. You will present solutions to on-demand questions from different business partners. And engage with different stakeholders to drive business processes and ad-hoc projects. What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis Spending/P&L reporting: You will actively engage in critical monthly Forecast deliverables. Analyze financial information and prepare relevant financial reports to keep management informed. Coordinate exception accruals/reclass process and provide insight to Senior management for approvals. Support Quarter end deliverables to ensure accurate and seamless close process (identify potential issues, coordinate with accounting on ad-hoc activities required from FP&A teams, communicate status of key close activities to broader finance groups) Prepare presentations and analysis dashboards to help translate numbers into insightful narratives. Ensure numbers have been thoroughly reviewed before submission for quarter-end reporting. You will showcase and utilize your knowledge on Hyperion, SAP, PowerPoint and expertized excel skills Headcount reporting: Responsible for company-wide Headcount reporting and analysis to provide valuable insights to Senior management. Deep-dive analysis and ad-hoc projects: Conduct analyses providing insights into investment/quarterly spending. Collaborate in projects owned by senior members of the team. You will showcase your strong analytical skills and capability to interpret large data sets and communicate valuable insights. And also, your ability to drive process improvements, coordinate and streamline everyday tasks and cross-functional teams activities. You will initiate to solve problems and deal well with ambiguity. The global team covers the areas of Bookings, Revenue, Spending/P&L, Cash Flow and Long-Term Planning, with a distributed team located in United States, Costa Rica, and India.
