Your Role and Responsibilities
As Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Procure to Pay (P2P), you are required to have end to end working knowledge and expertise on the Invoice processing, Travel & Expense Claims, Exception Resolution, Vendor Master Management, Query resolution (calls and emails), Quality Assurance Invoice reconciliation. You should be able to work with clients independently with little to minimal supervision. You should be flexible to work in shifts (24×7). Responsibilities

  • Handle complex invoices, travel and expense claims
  • Review work done Practitioners and Senior Practitioners
  • Train, coach and guide Practitioners and Senior Practitioners
  • Lead discussions with client on Invoice Processing for PO based invoices and non-po based invoices, Travel and Expense Processing, Payments, Vendor Reconciliations,
  • Vendor master creation, changes, verification, and cleansing
  • Identify the duplicate records for the Vendor Master Maintenance, Invoice receipt, verification, and processing accurately.
  • Quality Assurance – thorough review the work completed by Practitioner, capture errors and take corrective actions
  • Recording of Invoices both Purchase Order Based and Non-Purchase Order Based (Un-supported Invoices),
  • Co-ordination with various stakeholders, obtaining coding, approval and resolving issues around blocked invoices.
  • Ensuring payment and expense entries are posted in accounting software on a timely basis.
  • Review and / or Processing of travel and expense claims, payments, duplicate payment resolution and recovery and verify and run payment proposals.
  • Would be involved in handling queries for vendor statement reconciliation through calls and emails.
  • Adhere to client SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) and timelines.
  • Monitor Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) and report performance

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Commerce Graduate with minimum of 2-6 Years of experience in P2P domain.
  • End to end knowledge of Vendor Master, PR to PO, PO to GRN to Invoice Receipt to Invoice Processing, Non-PO coding, GRIR Reconciliation, Duplicate Payment detection, Query Resolution
  • Analytical skills in assessing First Pass Yield (FPY), PO Compliance or Lack thereof
  • Capacity Planning and Management
  • Experience in handling Critical Situation (how to recover from backlog)
  • Ability to handle demanding clients with subject matter expertise
  • Experience in invoice and vendor management along with resolving queries, and Invoice reconciliation.
  • Proven work knowledge to manage payment reporting and reconciliation activities.
  • Willingness to perform duties in varying shifts.

  • Ability to carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend Corrective Action Plan (CAP)
