Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will be part of a high-performance team. You will be working closely with the Business Leaders, Product owners and IT Leaders to identify / discover the problem. Develop clarity of the Problem statement and develop EDI solutions ranging from moderate to complex situations. Possess strong organizational, planning skills and proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment. As a highly motivated and self-directed individual, demonstrate ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.
You recognize time is essence and bring in solutions for interim need to long term need with an eye for secure transactions. You have experience in dealing with Government entities for working on Government Mandates.
Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will be required to lead independently and contribute to the EDI solutioning covering Business Architecture, IT Solution and Validation.

  • Plan out EDI development roadmap for the development team and provide relevant insights to the product owners on industry practices, Business Logics and Solution Architecture.
  • Responsible for identifying the mapping between source and target data elements in support of mapping resource specifications.
  • Be responsible for technical analysis of Requirements, Design and produce mapping documents, review and testing of the integration scenarios.
  • Collaborate with Mapping and Implementing Team to develop and test new or modified requirements.
  • Develops and maintains communication links with Trading Partners.
  • Proficient in Sterling Integrator B2B Tool with understanding and working knowledge of EDI formats
  • Have means of Testability to features that are getting implemented & develop acceptance TCs which may be executed independently as well as jointly with Business teams
  • Drive solution implementation and course correct any Architecture Road blocks.
  • Develop Definition of Done with key stakeholder.
  • Collaborate with various Stakeholders including Government representatives where required
  • Practice the Agile mind set.
  • Elaborate on requirements to actionable user stories
  • With Product Owner handle, prioritize product backlog management
  • Participate with Scrum Teams in grooming User stories
  • Alternative solutions discoveries & evaluation of relative merits
  • Develop, Definition of Done (DoD), acceptance criteria jointly with Stakeholders in Business and IT
  • Develop User Acceptance Test cases and Ability to look out for Rainy day scenarios
  • Do / Drive user acceptance testing and ensure functionality meets business needs to enable feature/product release.
  • Get buy-in/approval from Business/ Product owner to take forward Change to Production. Support Release notes and documentation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Possess B2B Domain knowledge and be aware of various Enterprise flows such as quote to cash, order to cash, source to pay, etc.,
  • Capture, Translate Business needs into IT requirements.
  • Management of all aspects of data and information (both structured and unstructured) from business requirements to logical and physical design in an IT solution.
  • Design and build Enterprise grade EDI solutions
  • Experience in IBM Sterling Integrator with implementation skill
  • Experience on BPN tool, creating customised Business Process Rules for different business scenarios is Mandatory
  • Experience in trouble shooting production failures
  • Development of data delivery mechanisms, that require communication protocols setup like – AS2, VAN, SFTP, MQ, SMTP, HTTP/S
  • Experience with various EDI Formats and Transactions.
  • Understand basics of security in communication and GDPR.
  • Identify learnings and apply best practices in a collaborative environment.
  • An EDI Analyst with hands on knowledge on EDI, Sterling Integrator platform (Sterling Gateway ‒ Supply chain Business Network), mapping and Implementation experience.
  • Proven Map development experience, Implementing EDI maps for transactions with standards EDIFACT, ANSI X12, Rosettanet, Tradacoms, XML, cXML.
  • Experience in AGILE methodology, Iteration review, Release Planning, management update and preparation of KPI on Deliveries.
  • Be a team player and a team leader, as the situation demand and lead by example.
  • Neutral Communication skill with exposure to network with Global stakeholders
