What will you contribute:
We are looking for a team lead for our E2E team. This is a business focused role requiring good cross functional business understanding of the Payments domain. The expectation is to lead the E2E team that owns the overall test strategy, cross functional test strategy, modernized component testing strategy and all the CICD around it. The E2E lead is expected to work closely with all product engineering teams and the automation infra team to use the latest infrastructure.
Technical know-how and proven experience on automation implementation would be an added advantage.

Role and Responsibilities
- Manage day to day activities of SDETs (Software development engineering testers) and automation engineering
- Responsible for all End2End domain activities and testing and automation (portfolio testing)
- Understand complex business and functional requirements, provide direction in designing the technical test cases, and make sure it meets the requirements.
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities while working with the engineering teams for the approval (or exceptions) for the product acceptance
- Great to have Plan, design and develop automated tests using Java (Junit5)
Ability to perform initial debugging on test failures and read through the code - Great to have Demonstrate techno-functional leadership and act as a mentor for the rest of the team
- Work closely with product, development, engineering scrum groups
- Training other SDETs in automation methods and practices
- Maintenance of automated tests
Job Requirements
- First degree graduates in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / similar degree.
- At least 3 years people management experience
- Proven experience with various testing frameworks for complex distributed systems backend/client architecture based, including integration testing with external systems
- Payments business know-how
- Great to have Proven experience with programming/scripting languages and frameworks such as: Selenium, SOAP UI, Java, Jenkins, Robot, Ranorex, Maven, Apium, etc
- Continuous integration and continuous delivery / deployment processes experience
- Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results and participate in day to day Sprint activities
- Ability to travel abroad from time to time
We are looking for a smart, highly motivated, out of the box thinker that is also a great team player. Excellent communication skills are expected.
