The Role Responsibilities
Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders

  • Fixed Income and Equities Trading Desk, COO team and various T&I delivery teams by project/system.

Other Responsibilities

  • Analyse and gain a detailed level understanding of Securities Trading
  • Be involved with workshops with Risk, Finance, Operations etc so that Business Requirements can be documented.
  • Prepare Gap Analysis, Business Requirements Documents and Project Approval Requests
  • Work closely with SME experts in various areas of the business gaining an understanding of their processes.
  • Document the decisions taken in the workshops re the interpretation of the requirements and the Operational, Business impact.
  • Document Actions from the workshops and assist with the tracking of the deliverables.
  • Document and raise any Risks and Issues to the Product Owners, Business owners and Program Management.
  • Take part in project testing cycles and assist with the preparation of test packs.
  • Support implementation and of new/updated processes to BAU to ensure regulatory change requirements are delivered.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA Finance preferred)
  • Over 15 years investment banking experience required, preferably working in FM Technology area in past.
