Job Description & SummaryA career in our Investigations and Fact Finding practice, within Fraud, Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement (FIRE) services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients understand where they might have vulnerabilities and develop solutions to manage the risks involved. We prevent, respond to and remediate a wide range of business threats, risks and complex issues.
Our team helps businesses detect and investigate fraudulent activities or irregularities within their organisation. As part of our team, you’ll help investigate issues such as corporate irregularities, whistleblower allegations, asset misappropriation, regulatory violations, patent and copyright infringement and financial reporting fraud.
JobDescription

  • Monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
  • Demonstrate in-depth and sound technical capabilities and professional knowledge in area of auditing of financial statements / books of account, financial due diligence,evidence management andquality control
  • Contributing to or assisting in drafting proposals, presentations, marketing materials with a focus on winning work or enhancing the firm’s reputation
  • Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge to include updates on various accounting and auditing standards and other developments in regulations
  • The role would be client facing and will require travel within the country and overseas

Essential Skills

  • Extensive experience in Statutory Audit, Financial Due Diligence orTransaction Advisory OrAccounting Advisory is essential for the proposed role
  • Should have rich experience and understanding of reading and analysing or conducting due diligence of the financial statements, comprehensive financial statements analysis and company business plans, applied strong auditing experiencefor entities , clearingquality control tests of high standards
  • Has an eye for detail and skepticism, takes ownership and does effective evidence management which should withstand client and regulatory scrutiny
  • Strong analytical bent of mind assessing the facts of the case and analysing evidence and structured problem solving approach
  • Should have strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
  • Excellent Report writing skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PPT and Google applications
  • Adaptability to a dynamic environment often accompanied by shifting priorities and ability to manage high pressure situations- stringent deadlines and difficult and demanding clients.
  • Self-motivated, creative and decisive in approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrate team Leadership skillsandSupport the team in delivering the given task and keep the team motivated during pressure
