TITLE
Development Architect – (NodeJS/Cloud) SAP.iO
ROLE
In this role, you’ll iterate quickly with a small but high energy team to help us to design and develop a scalable SaaS solution. You’ll own development of our back-end infrastructure & will ensure that that we use the most suitable technologies and build in the right features to allow for a reliable, efficient, and effective solution. You will have a chance to architect a brand new product and have customer engagements. It is also an opportunity to get exposed to SAP.iO and Technology & Innovation board area and building relations with leaders of these organizations. You will also be part of Agile team embracing microservice architecture and DevSecOps culture and you will need to have the passion for new and emerging technology and have out of the box thinking to solve one of the world’s greatest problem. We are looking for a passionate and technically strong Development Architect to join our team. As a Development Architect, you will:
- Design Multitenant, Scalable, Fault-tolerant and Secure SaaS based applications.
- Evaluate architecture risks and estimate efforts for business requirements and support decision making on these topics.
- View deliverables, giving due importance to product standards like usability, performance, security etc
- Contribute to the overall system architecture and design of the applications by working closely with product owner, developers and align on architectural or technical dependencies.
- Own and drive techincal PoCs to evaluate and validate concepts and feasibility
- Contribute to the team spirit by supporting an environment of continuous learning, exchanging of ideas & thoughts.
EXPERIENCE
What do you need to bring
- 9-15 years of experience building complex, scalable, secure web applications and in designing Databases
- Experience in building micro service based multi tenant cloud native applications using cloud provider services (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Ability to take architecture design decisions and pave way for the team in building an effective solution and mentor the team with best practices.
- Experience with TypeScript, Javascript, scaling NodeJS backends and in writing complex SQL queries
- Profound knowledge on event sourcing and messaging systems (Kafka is preferred)
- DevOps experience (Docker/Kubernetes,CI/CD etc)
- Knowledge of one or more topics like Sequelize, React.js, Redis, concepts would be an added advantage
