Conferences Registration Technology at Gartner

Gartner Conferences delivers world-class conferences across the globe, attracting tens of thousands of attendees and exhibitors each year. The Registration Customer Experience team is focused on shaping a world class registration experience for all clients and conference attendees who attend Gartner Conferences.
The new role will support the Registration team by delivering registration experiences across all conferences to make it easy and intuitive for our clients and associates. Ensure first class execution, forward thinking and product development are applied constantly by the Registration team to aid client retention and business growth while still delivering a globally consistent and world class level of service.
What you will do:

  • Support registration site creation for 35+ destination conferences annually
  • Ensure registration sites are set up with accurate conference details (pricing, logistics, email communications), tested and maintained to deliver a flawless registration and overall attendee experience
  • Enhance quality assurance processes to ensure seamless and efficient registration experience
  • Collect information from various stakeholders and update internal documents to successfully launch registration and other registration related deliverables
  • Maintain internal documents as adjustments to conference details arise
  • Partner with global registration team and vendors on day-to-day operations as well as future initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand various priorities that will enhance registration to drive overall efficiencies and attendee experience
  • Assist with the creation of registration related documentation and training materials for internal teams
  • Support registration budget and invoicing as needed
  • Serve as main registration point of contact for conferences identified by manager
  • Travel to conferences and provide on-site support as needed and determined by manager

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2-4 years of project management experience and/or events experience
  • Simultaneously manages multiple tasks and prioritization of workload
  • Strong record of achievement in current position
  • Proficient experience with Event Management Software (RainFocus, CVENT etc.) preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully facilitate and collaborate across multiple functions, departments, and leadership levels.
  • Team player and growth mindset
  • Intellectually curious, solutions oriented, willingness to learn
  • Strong business analysis, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office, and strong Excel skills needed
  • Understanding and appreciation of technology
  • Smartsheet and G Suite experience preferred
