We are looking for a motivated individual to join the India Capacity Planning (Supply Chain Execution) team and build innovative solutions for our vendors & liquidators with the help of data driven critical thinking.
We are looking for a candidate who can drive below:
1. Using data insights to identify and build automated solutions for manual processes
2. Support manual processes requiring automation
3.Suggest and drive process improvements and programs
4. Pre-empt and build dashboards to measure execution success of programs
5. Build automated reports with minimal / no person dependencies Responsibilities Include:
– The role will be responsible to deliver automation projects/manage stakeholders (other amazon teams/vendors) in Capacity Planning (Supply Chain Execution) Team
– Provide data and analytics to the team for measuring performance metrics
– An ideal candidate will demonstrate strong deep dive, invent & simplify and end-to-end ownership of project delivery
– Person should be strong in modular approach to problem solving and break down complex situations to simple problem statements
Basic Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar. – 3+ years of experience from a fast-paced environment, preferably in business intelligence, consulting, engineering or related field. – Expertise using SQL and ETL for acquiring and transforming data or keen interest in acquiring an advanced knowledge of SQL. – Proficiency in VBA Macro, Python and R is a plus
Preferred Qualifications :
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences. – Advanced experience of databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets and Visualization through Tableau Working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel
