The Big Data Application Servicing Team within the Enterprise Data Platform Organization provides the DevOps platform for the Data Developer Community of PayPal to Build, Test, Deploy, Schedule, Run and Manager their applications and jobs across various data stores (Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.,). The platform hosts around 100K+ jobs across 3 Schedulers that runs 500K executions per day. We are looking to hire a software engineer to build developer frameworks for Big data applications.
Job Responsibilities
Good coding and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms
1-2 years hands on experience in Java and/or Python
Knowledge on Software Development Life-Cycle
Ability to self-learn things and deliver the given task with minimal help / supervision
Good communication skills
