Job Title – Education Business Analyst

The Revenue Performance Organization in Controllership is a dynamic, stakeholder and customer-oriented team in Finance that is focusing on revenue recognition. We value business-focus while ensuring that we meet compliance and revenue standards under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). We collaborate with logistics, FP-A, broader controllership, change management, shared services, and audit associates.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you be responsible for accounting for education revenue and cost, analysing the hicard and hipass usage and transferring cost to the receiving country, creating education reports as needed and providing detailed analysis to the Education Service Manager as well as being the support (back up) for deferred GSS revenue account reconciliation (24250) and responding to all queries connected with professional services or education reserves.
On top of that the role also involves requesting invoices, creating the flush proposal of the unused reserves on the account as well as scholarship analysis and support for other professional services processes that are handled via Kimble.
You will have opportunities to collaborate with Global Revenue Performance colleagues to achieve consistent best practices and judgement.
What you bring to the team
- Accounting knowledge
- Good knowledge of excel
- Analytical skills
- Ability to work with big data files
- At least 3 years’ experience in an industry-related field.
- Professional degree such as BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics. CPA/CMA/MBA or equivalent is a plus.
