The US region service supply chain planner 3 leads important aspects of Service Parts Supply Chain – forecasting, planning, deployment and rebalancing of Service spare parts from main DC to US region warehouse, forward stocking locations (FSL) and FSE trunk stock . This position also manages Service Parts Forecasting Tool, forecast over-rides, preventive maintenance Kits forecast using Service Max schedules and follow-up with the fulfillment teams on parts that are below target levels or stocked out. - Play a key role in the execution of recommendations from Service Parts Planning Software (Baxter Planning’s ‘Prophet’)
- Manage target stocking levels for all stocking locations in USA – namely US region warehouse, forward stocking locations and field engineer trunk stock. Change the stocking levels on a monthly basis based on the recommendations from ‘Prophet’
- Follow-up with the plant and planners to ensure replenishment orders on back order are fulfilled including developing a plan/schedule for fulfilment
- Monitor forward stocking location inventory using 3rd Party software to maintain accuracy in replenishment
- Monitor excess inventory in all stocking locations and drive rebalancing/redeployment within the region and US region warehouse on a periodic basis.
- Monitor data changes and accuracy of reports from ‘Prophet’ prior to execution
- Work with Product management teams globally for any special NPI or upgrade stocking needs
- Inform Global Analyst of any changes that may need to be incorporated into the data feeds sent to Baxter Planning – like new FSEs coming on board, missing part numbers, missing locations etc
- Own creation of helpdesk tickets on Baxter Planning for any changes that are needed to be made
- Create SOPs and work instructions for all the processes that will be managed for replenishment and redeployment
- Support root causing, hit rate analysis, creation of dashboards, communicating results to the region representatives on a periodic basis
- Own parts escalation process for US and support the field engineers and customers through interaction with manufacturing to retire them promptly
- Focus on continuous improvement methodology to make incremental improvements to planning and forecasting processes.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Thorough knowledge of Service supply chain activities, preferably relating to Healthcare Industry.
- Inventory Management, Planning & Forecasting, Order Management & Delivery and Escalation Management
- SAP, SAP BI, ServiceMax hands-on Experience or similar software. Specific hands-on experience with Service Parts Forecasting Tools like Servigistics, XELUS, Baxter Planning, Syncron etc. will be a big plus.
- Working knowledge on data management/visualization tools like Cognos, Qlikview etc. is desirable
- Advanced MS Excel skills – Formulae, Macro, Pivot Table, Data Input Utility and MS Share Point Customizing Skills
- Knowledge and exposure to Continuous Improvement techniques like LEAN & Six Sigma

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics. Master’s Degree will be a plus.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain & Fulfilment Operations. Specific exposure to Service Operations will be a plus.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (less than 10%)
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and reach.
- Ability to view computer monitor and use keyboard for prolonged period of time
- Ability to sit for prolonged period of time, handling, fingering, listening, near vision, midrange vision in connection with performing essential functions.
- New Delhi/Gurgaon in India preferably but can consider other locations as well
- Flexibility in working hours to be expected due to time zone considerations and global business needs
