Data Security Ops Admin III, based out of our Bangalore location, plays a key role in Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) Operations organization providing operational continuity for critical business processes, IT systems and IT solutions through project operations support, enhancements, documentation and operational support.

What will you do
- Own and deliver operations support associated with data and platform security.
- Experience working with authentication, authorization, role-based access and user entitlements in AWS and/or other cloud environments.
- Define, Implement, manage and monitor platform and data security solutions to detect, respond and mitigate security events and vulnerabilities for cloud-based systems and applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Monitor, provision, automate and build services and platform elements such as Pyspark/EMR, databases, AWS Athena, S3, Redshift, AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Glue and other Data Engineering technologies using GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins and other DevOps tools.
- Integrate cross account and transfer the data in secured format
- Migrate Data between OnPrem to cloud, Cloud to Cloud along with security
- Perform Data Encryptions within the AWS cloud
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Manage life cycle of AWS compute, storage and service components and other cloud platform tools, including GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Jira, and Confluence.
- Measure performance and environment of application with system & application log tools and act to improve accordingly.
- Be available and participate in on-call schedule to address critical operational incidents and business requests
- Manage cost associated with AWS services usage. Propose, Implement and show definite cost optimizations and achieve proposed results within defined periods
How will you get here
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of DevOps experience using GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, AWS services and agile development methodologies.
- Should possess one or more of the following certifications – CISSP, SANS GCIH, Vendor Certifications (CISO, Palo Alto, McAfee, IBM etc.), AWS Certification(s) – One or more of the following: Security Specialty, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer Associate or Professional
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant professional system engineering or administration experience, with significant exposure to a variety of technologies and domains
- 3-5 years working with AWS, deep understanding of AWS concepts, and fluency with the AWS APIs/command line tools
- Realtime Security Project implementation experience in AWS involving ETL pipelines, AWS Glue, API gateway and Redshift as database using DevOps methodologies is mandatory.
- Proficient at AWS IAM, Access Advisor, CloudTrail, Cross account and other services to assess the security of an environment’s access policies
- Working knowledge of Pyspark/EMR, Athena, S3, Redshift, AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Glue, IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling and other AWS managed services required for DevOps/DataOps is mandatory
- Should have implemented CI/CD using GitHub, Jenkins, terraform at least once including installation, configuration but not limited to.
- Proven Experience with a variety of security tools (SIEM, DLP, Endpoint Security, WAF, etc.)
- Proven Experience in implementing and maintaining security for cloud-based systems and application in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Proven experience with implementing Data security in Data lakes. Restricting the Data access, DB access based on roles, accounts etc.
- Experience automating server configurations to include standard build installations and system security hardening
- Experience centrally monitoring systems for alerts and incident management functions preferable with Amazon CloudWatch
- Scripting language experience (Python, NodeJS, etc.), Strong working knowledge of automation tools such as (Puppet, Jenkins, and Chef). Working knowledge of RDS database such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL

- Experience with agile development methodologies by following DevOps, Data Ops and Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams from multiple regions/ time zones by effectively leveraging multi-form communication (Email, MS Teams for voice and chat, meetings)
- Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills.

- Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.
- Learn and train other team members
- Communicates Effectively: Provide timely and consistent updates and recommendations on BI Operational issues and improvements to stakeholders.
- Drive to meet and exceed BI Operational SLAs for Service Now incidents, Major Incidents, xMatters alerts, Employee Experience Metrics and BI application /process availability metrics.
