Assistant Manager – NVH Analyst

To accelerate this, we’re investing nearly Rs 2,400 crores to build the world’s largest two wheeler factory, which will have the capacity to manufacture over 10M electric two wheelers a year and will create over 10,000 jobs.
Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Design and development of electric traction motors for Low/Medium/High voltage(up to 400Vdc) for Electric Vehicle(EV) applications
  2. Strong understanding of Motor sizing , Electromagnetics(eMag) , Permanent magnets and Power electronics.
  3. Electric machine design and analysis using state of art of eMag tools like Ansys Maxwell (2D/3D)/ Altair Flux/Motor CAD/Hand Calculation
  4. Design optimization of machines using advanced simulation techniques(automation processes,scripting and reduction in computation time etc.,).
  5. Design of Hub Wheel Motors for 2W EV Applications
  6. Hands on experience on development of prototype samples and production samples.
  7. Hands on experience on DVP&R, testing and validation of electrical machines.
  8. Responsible for Motor controller development Providing necessary electric machine data for the Controller development
  9. Thermal Design of electric Machines
  10. Hands on experience in the complete product development cycle of electrical motors.

Experiences & Skills:

  1. 4+ years of experience in detailed analysis, feasibility studies, performance analysis and prototyping.
  2. Proficiency in 2D and 3D magnetic FEA required
  3. Proficiency in thermal and structural FEA preferred
  4. Rotor position sensor selection and Design
  5. Selection of the materials of motor components
  6. Very good knowledge of e-machine control methods, implementation, and test
  7. Very good familiarity with power electronics and inverter hardware layout
  8. Basic understanding of Mechanical Design of Motors
  9. Adherence to Product specifications
  10. Benchmarking of Special Features for Cost and Performance Enhancement
  11. Very good knowledge of Motor Testing Standards
  12. Very good knowledge of Global Electrical machine design standards
  13. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  14. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  15. Engineering documentation, supplier qualification and QMS practices.
  16. Adherence to time plan
  17. Excellent people skills and has a history of teamwork.

Qualifications:
ME/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Electric machine / Drive design
