Our goal as Ola Electric, is to enable and maximize the number of electric kms delivered through our ecosystem of products and services. We start with India but our ambitions are global.
E-Rickshaws provide a unique opportunity to build out our charging infrastructure. E-ricks deliver over 50 million kms of electric mobility in India everyday – no other form factor comes close.
That said, we are building an entire eco system of our batteries and charging infrastructure in a way that it can serve all sorts of electric vehicles tomorrow including 2Ws, our own 3W and potentially small 4Ws
As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for our customers. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process-from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need and ensure that the final product works well and delights them. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail and problem solving skills for tackling complex work flows.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Senior UX Designer you will be responsible for the following:
- Get insights from customers that can translate to a value proposition.
- Lead projects from start to finish and manage issues that impact design.
- Deliver detailed design flows and specifications, ensure product excellence throughout product development and implementation process.
- Define design direction in close collaboration with Designers, Researchers and Product Managers to define approach, tone, personality, ease of use, end-to-end flows.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define user needs, opportunities and product requirements.
- Present User Flows, Wireframes, Prototypes to communicate your ideas and concepts effectively.
- Validate ideas and designs through user testing.
Experience & Skills
Around 1+ years of work experience designing digital solutions in the field of Consumer Electronics, Automotive or Industrial Sectors (B2B)
- Must have a strong background in User Experience Design or any other professional design background.
- Has a demonstrable portfolio of work that reflects the breadth & depth of skills as a UX Designer.
- Thorough understanding of UX processes and methodologies.
- Experience working with Tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision. Adobe Suite etc
- Good communication and Presentation skills
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Interaction Design or any professional design field.
