Eaton’s Corporate division is currently seeking an Accounting Analyst – Cash Management to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro Office.
The Accounting Analyst – Cash Management is responsible for manage the bank transactions for the SAP sites in conjunction with the Plant personnel to ensure the correct application and to maintain the Zero Balance Account for all bank accounts, prepare the Balance Sheet Reconciliations and prepare the Month end close for this accounts.
Some activities related with the position will be:

  • General accounting procedures and perform the monthly closing process for Cash Management for the SAP Sites.
  • Generate daily the bank statements (MT940) to upload it into SAP for processing.
  • Post Journal Entries for Cash Management recorded on SAP (cash pool, clearing start, check clearing, bank fees, pediments, netting in, banking operation reversal)
  • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations every month for Bank accounts.
  • Monitor the SAP sites the correct application of the items in the bank accounts and coordinate with them the proper correction in case.
  • Treasury, ICA & ZBA. Support the SAP sites on the balancing of their ICA statements with accounting.
  • Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFSS goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope.
  • Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.
  • Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree necessary.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in finance/ accounting and auditing within a Big 4 Firm or in a multinational company.
  • Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential; sound understanding of Tax regulation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems and multiple ERP systems, particularly Oracle and SAP.
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) required.
