Reporting Job Code 118351 Track IC Business Unit RACS ARL Level (1 – 9) 7.2 Reports to Manager Education Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Associate Chartered Accountants(ACA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA/ICWAI) or any candidates who are currently pursuing these qualifications and have completed min 50% of the course at the time of application Work Experience • CA/CPA/ACCA/ACA/CMA/CGMA – Completion of Articleship of 3 years + Up to 1 year of work experience in Record to Report function, Preparation and Analysis of Financials, General Ledger reporting, month end closures etc. • CA/CPA/ACCA/ACA/CMA/CGMA – Part Qualified – Completion of Articleship of 3 years + 1 to 3 years of work experience in Record to Report function, Preparation and Analysis of Financials, General Ledger reporting, month end closures etc. Shift Timings 12.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m./ 3.30p.m to 12.30a.m Scope Work Description/Role Summary: (Brief 4-5 line description of the role ) · General Ledger Accounting and month end closure · Preparation and analysis of management accounts for the small to medium complex clients · Provide year-end support for audit work, regulatory financials etc · Any other adhoc work as required Role overview: (Detailed role description 10-12 lines) · General Accounting, Technical Insurance Accounting, Intercompany and Reconciliation. · End to End Accounting and preparation of Financials for small to medium complex clients · Provide year end support for audit work, preparation of Boardpacks, Statutory Financials and Annual Returns · Provide support to domiciles on adhoc queries, additional work requests etc · Self-assess the impact of transactions and process. · Regularly interact with domicile (onshore managers) to receive information and clarifications for preparation of financials · Plan and prioritize the task in order to meet multiple deliverables on the same day · Provide support to the team to meet the deliverables with excellent quality Skills & Knowledge Requirements: · General Accounting Knowledge · Independently analyze the source documents for accounting purpose · Analysis of Investment Reports and accounting for the transactions · Analysis and accounting of Forex transactions · Financial Statements preparation as per the GAAP standards · Audit experience – internal & statutory · Accounting tool knowledge · Very good knowledge in MS Excel and Word applications Mandatory Skills (Behavioral) · Excellent Communication – written and oral · Effectively manage multiple clients and requests simultaneously along with meeting quality · Ability to prioritize tasks depending on criticality and impact · Work under tight turn-around situations · Identify areas for improvement in the assigned work · Can do attitude and ready to take up additional work · Proactive in processing of information, communication etc · Good Team Player, High on Energy Mandatory Skills (Specialized) · General Accounting Knowledge · Insurance and Forex Accounting · Analysis of financial statements Good To Have : · Insurance Concepts and Different Structures · Insurance Accounting Works with: Interaction with onshore clients via email and calls 2486195
