About the Role
- The role requires a developed understanding of enterprise finance functional areas and supports internal financial management reporting for the enterprise.
- The reporting will leverage Essbase and relational data sources.
- Knowledge and understanding of various Essbase applications as well as SQL databases is essential/critical as each high level issue identified may require drilling into various dimensions/tables to fully understand the problem.
- Understanding of finance forecasting, reporting and closing process is also critical.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Reporting Center of Excellence (COE) to define and provide feedback on reporting requirements, create functional designs and develop the reporting in the Applied OLAP Dodeca application.
- Work with partners in Business Finance, COE Finance, Treasury, Credit, Risk, and FPM (Financial Performance Management).
Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelors graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration .ICWA Inter or CA inter is acceptable.
- Minimum 7-12 years’ experience in finance ops or accounting ops roles such as financial reporting allocations, hierarchy management, transfer pricing, monthly closing, or equivalent experience in financial forecasting & reporting, ALM & Treasury, financial analytics & consulting.
- Ability to work both independently and within team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Position will require an understanding of when/how an issue should be escalated as well as the ability to think critically in resolving issues.
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power point.
- 7-12 years of experience in financial controls & risk environment.
- Experience with data analytic tools such as Essbase / SmartView, Access or SQL, Applied OLAP Dodeca reporting experience and/or VBA (visual basic programming) are critical skill sets in this position.
- Understanding of financial reporting is also critical
