The Role Responsibilities
Play a senior leadership role in global Retail Analytics Organization; drive Retail Analytics value creation along RB client data analytics value chain in collaboration with senior business stakeholders and Retail Analytics CoE; relentlessly drive process improvement and higher quality of service delivery towards the strategic target state of Retail Analytics, be the change agent for diversity, women agenda and merit-based organization
Strategy

  • The primary focus of the role is to deliver analytics projects within the CPBB Analytics. The individual will be responsible for end to end analytics solution development, deployment, performance assessment etc. Also provides thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert to design and recommend appropriate analytical solution in addressing key issues within the business

Business

  • Drive Retail Analytics Operations strategic initiatives including data %26amp; platform, process improvement, MIS, people agenda etc.
  • Lead the effort from Retail Analytics perspective to identify revenue %26amp; operation profit opportunities.
  • Partner with country business heads and drive adoption of best practice among countries.
  • Partner with Senior Leaders and Stakeholders on strategic initiatives and drive delivery of organization objectives
  • Lead the effort to review and improve efficiency of processes and quality of service delivery.
  • Ensuring total customer satisfaction by providing quality service, submitted in a timely manner and communicated effectively
  • Continuous Improvement in Productivity to the standards prescribed from time to time
  • Manage data %26amp; information support for all the key initiatives of business units across Retail Bank supporting countries %26amp; group teams
  • Work with Compliance on enhancing data security governance in line with Group Policies and monitoring/tracking the team%26rsquo;s compliant
  • Provide guidance to Group/Country SBIM teams on matters related to data governance and solutions to enable delivery of information to stakeholders in a secured, timely and efficient manner
  • Work closely with technology and Ops function and the data warehouse team on solutions to resolve identified production issues which are impacting existing infrastructure /solution covering data quality, data assurance, refresh timeliness, data security governance
  • Manage analytics support for all the key initiatives of all segments/products of Retail Bank
  • Manage processes leading up to scorecard performance tracking and incentive calculation
  • Interact with metrics owners across various functions and get end to end understanding of the metrics and applicability of the same across various Scorecards

  • Continuously improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes
  • Ensure effective management of operational risks within the function and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations

People and Talent

  • Champion and act as role model of the group%26rsquo;s values
  • Driving an environment of collaboration, both within CPBB Banking and across the wider Group, to ensure issues are raised and blockages are resolved in a timely manner
  • Responsibilities include recruitment, training, mentoring, work supervision and performance appraisal

Risk Management

  • Interpret the Group%26rsquo;s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures
  • Ensure data security and data sharing in secured way through SharePoint in password protected files

Governance

  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Education – Post Graduate (Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics or Economics)
  • 12 plus years of relevant Domain Experience in analytics (Retail / Banking). Preferably relevant domain experience in Digital, Social Media, Channel, AI, Real-time analytics
  • In depth business understanding for client, segment, product and channels
  • Exposure in a large international Bank in driving performance effectiveness / business analytics
