Job Description
- Post Graduate (Masters ) degree in thermal sciences or thermal engineering from premier institute.
- 8+yrs of Hand on experience in thermal & multi-phase flow analysis of gas turbine bearing compartments & seals.
- Ability to manage fluid system projects and coordinate with customers on daily/weekly deliverables.
- Strong aero thermal design domain knowledge on Bearing compartments & Seals.
- Experience in hand calculations of heat transfer coefficients for Multi-Phase Flow mixtures, mixture properties.
- Thermal Engineer with excellent technical, analytical, managerial and communication skill.
- Hands experience on below tools essential
- CAD TOOLS : UNIGRAPHICS, Team Centre, Space Claim
- CAE TOOLS : ANSYS, ANSYS Workbench, Fluent
- PW In-House Tools : AUTOMODELER, BCON, MUDS, FABL, CFD-FEA Thermal Coupling
- Prog. Languages & Simulation Tools : ANSYS(APDL), C, VBA, Python, MatLab, SimLink, Dymola, AspenPlus
