Job Purpose
This position is open with Bajaj Finance ltd. To contribute in financial reportings to the management like Flash, Financials for the month, Reforecast for the year and AOP for next year.
Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Duties and Responsibilities – Specific Accountabilities: 1. Flash Reporting: Preparing P&L for Flash reporting. Preparing Flash report 2. Month Closing: TB review Finalizing & providing inputs for montly P&L (for on line items/areas assigned) Performing Segment break & providing inputs for the financials (for the Segments assigned) Preparing statements for Businesses (eg AR Walk) 3. Business Alignment & Review Meetings: Going through monthly P&L’s of the Businesses assigned and prepare analysis on need basis Resolving queries and aligning the P&L’s with businesses Attending review meetings & preparing minutes thereof 4. AOP: Readying AOP model & AOP tracker Updating model with the inputs received from businesses & functions Finalizing P&L line times assigned and providing inputs for AOP Reviewing business P&L’s assigned Raising queries on businesses and making corrections based on corrected inputs AOP P&L alignment with businesses Attending review meetings and making necessary corrections in the model based on directions received. 5. Reforecast: Readying reforecast model and reforecast tracker. Updating model with the inputs received from businesses & functions Reviewing business P&L’s (for the businesses assigned) Raising queries on businesses and making corrections based on corrected inputs Reforecast P&L alignment with businesses Attending review meetings and making changes based on directions received. Preparing reforecast Deck for submission to management Other Accountabilities: 6. Monthly Deck: Review of Finance Deck & getting corrections done 7. Opportunities of Savings & Process Correction: Analysing revenue line items for proper charging (revenue assurance) and booking. Identifying reasons for wrong charging getting changes done Getting corrections done in booking process Identifying issues in expense booking & getting necessary corrections done 8. Miscellaneous: Breaking P&L of business segments into sub-segments based on requirement Breaking specific P&L line items from previous periods depending upon requirement Taking up/supporting in other activities as and when they arise 4. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job) Adhoc Management requirements Tight timelines for deliverables 5. DECISIONS (Key decisions taken by job holder at his/her end) How any assigned work is to be done data sources to be referred to & the flow of work to arrive at the desired result. Provisions to be carried/ reversed. 6.
