Title: Business Analyst II
Location: Hyderabad
Our mission at WWCTA Analytics is to provide support for data/reporting & analytics, ensuring our leadership and teams have access and alignment on the data-related services they need.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working with disparate and huge volumes of data to develop scheduled, automated and self-service solutions for WWCTA and our Business Partners. You will be responsible for building a robust set of operational and business metrics and also utilize these metrics to determine and recommend any improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
· Gather requirements from stakeholders to build a suite of analytical and reporting solutions using the Amazon data lake and data sourced from internal recruitment tools
· Query data using SQL for ad-hoc analyses and publishing high-quality dashboard and reports, on Quicksight, Tableau or MS Excel
· Provide timely wing-to-wing project lifecycle execution (project planning, execution, risk assessment and system availability)
· Execute cross functional, high impact projects to improve operational performance and candidate experience
· Perform business analyses and query data using SQL, direct front-end system extracts, VBA macros, etc.
· Articulate results from your analyses to aid the overall decision-making process
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
· Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
· Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
· Experience with SQL
· Experience in Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications: · Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or Operations Research · Experience with Tableau and R · Exposure to software development process · Analytical mindset and ability to see the big picture and influence others · Detail-oriented and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems. The role will require the ability to extract data from various sources and to design/construct/execute complex analyses to finally come up with data/reports that help solve the business problem · Strong oral, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to lead group discussions and explaining complex solutions · Ability to apply analytical, computer, statistical and quantitative problem-solving skills · Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, high volume environment · Ability to be adaptable and flexible in responding to deadlines and workflow fluctuations
