Department Overview
Commercial Banking Finance provides financial consultation services to the following areas: 1) Operations 2) Strategy and Shared Services 3) Control Executive and 4) Transformation & Data Integration. These areas provide Operational Support, Risk and Control Governance, Data & Analytics Capabilities, Shared Services, and Project Management for the Commercial Banking line of business. This team partners with business leaders to educate, inform and bring valuable subject matter expertise on all matters Finance. About the Role
This Senior Finance Consultant role serves as business subject matter expert (SME) regarding finance matters and oversight. The role with support Business Leaders as well assist other Finance Consultants on the team day-to-day. Regular duties include ad-hoc research using Essbase, IrisWeb, eService to support AU manager updates, hierarchy changes, general ledger entries, research and resolution of current charges to close AUs, managing and updating standard monthly management reporting, in-depth trend and variance analysis, identifying and resolving complex problems, accurate and detailed monthly forecasting, providing meaningful insights into the underlying drivers impacting results, and providing guidance to business partners regarding relevant financial policies.

Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics; CA/CFA/MBA a plus
- Total 8-10+ years of experience in corporate, multi-line business organization.
- Ability to perform complex analyses, build financial models, draw conclusions, and communicate recommendations to business leaders.
- Exposure to key accounting tools like Oracle Financials, Essbase.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferable to have prior experience in F&A solution design
- Advanced knowledge of Excel including Pivot tables, V lookups, tracing formulas and running macros
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint is preferred
- Working knowledge in Tableau is preferred
- Comfortable working rotational shifts including the night shift
