DBSI Bangalore is the newest addition to Diageo’s global shared services organization. This new entity will enable Diageo to take further advantage of its presence in India by leveraging its business services operations and networks.
Purpose of the Role:

  • Analysing requirements, designing and developing interfaces using IPaaS Mule ESB – Mulesoft
  • To work closely with the Integration/Solutions Architects to ensure that integration is in line with the overall solution that is proposed.
  • To participate in current & future projects related to Mulesoft.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to the business and project team.
  • Proposing and driving implementation of best practices and adherence to best in class industry standards in collaboration with the process experts.
  • To support continued improvement within the area through innovative solutions and to deliver current efficiency and effectiveness targets by on time, defect free, solutions
  • To support, as a secondary activity, the BAU team, the Business Partner or the Project Manager/Programme Director, with technical questions related to IIBoC.

Responsibilities:
The top accountabilities are supervision and delivery of –
1. High Level Definition – Estimation of complexity and work required to deliver a given change
2. Technical definition, governance and translation to system requirements – Understand functional requirements and translate them into a technical definition, thus providing solutions for the gaps and match functionality to enable market solutioning and system configuration. Ensure proper documentation is in place according to Diageo standards. Act as a Consultant in process improvement, knowledge base development and change implementation planning if required.
3. System governance and configuration – Ensuring that we design and deliver solutions that fit with our Enterprise Architecture and technical roadmaps, both from a design perspective and as the person configuring them.
4. Solution Knowledge – Builds effective knowledge of all solutions delivered to enable internal ongoing BAU capabilities.
5. Security and compliance – make sure that all delivered solutions follow Diageo global security guidelines and controls (e.g. CARM)
We are looking for:

  • We are looking for an IT professional with a university degree who has more than 8 years of specific experience and expertise in development of interfaces using Mule ESB – Mulesoft
  • Proven experience in delivering resilient and reliable integration solutions using Mulesoft in Hybrid Integration landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of various Integration Patterns and knowledge on API management platforms, gateway and API related solution architecture and design and micro-services architecture and stack.
  • Designing and developing integration components that are based on the IIB platform. Expertise in design and development of maps, message flows and configure/develop adaptors. Expertise in transforming messages with Dataweave and Java Maps,, performance optimization and administration of the Mulesoft.
  • Should be comfortable in protocols in Mulesoft such as , SOAP or HTTP etc, building and consuming web Services or APIs. Concept of connectors/adaptors for connecting to various data sources, e.g. databases, files, ftp, xml, web services etc.
  • Experience in working on SAP Integrations(IDoc and RFC adapter) would be an added advantage.
  • Good Business Partnering skills and experience of working on and delivering projects with multiple partners is a must. Ability to align and influence multiple stakeholders is required.
  • Knowledge and expertise of IT methodologies like Waterfall, PRINCE2 and/or Agile for delivering projects and strong verbal and written English communication skills is mandatory, the individual must be willing to work in EMEA Shift timings – Bangalore evening hours.
