DESCRIPTION
Looking to do something nobody else has done Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager who wants to make a true difference in Global AP Payments. With a scale and complexity that does not exist at any other company, this person will be part of a team delivering payment solutions for our growing businesses and diverse global payee population. The position will make sure that we delight our payees on Day 1 of any program launch. They will actively work with technology teams, expansion teams, Treasury and other internal & external partners to deliver results.
With an emphasis on an exceptional payee experience and optimal payment solution delivery, the goal of this position will be to pay all payees in the amount, payment method, currency and date they expect. By providing your customer-centric approach, you will actively participate in Amazon’s business growth and optimization of payment offering. Consistent with a global vision, using data analysis and intelligence, you are passionate about identifying areas for further automation, continuous improvement, or other opportunities to deliver innovative payment options and delight our payees.
Key responsibilities:
· Manage and analyze payments data to ensure alignment to program goals and metrics. Own and manage payments metrics and dissemination to stakeholders and organizational updates.
· Produce analysis and intelligence on payment trends and themes that drive discussion, transparency on opportunities to improve and enhance the payment program.
· Serve as a subject-matter-expert (SME) for AP Payments functions for all Amazon expansion projects/programs.
· Track, review and drive corrective actions so that all payment program and AP Payment operations meet or exceed metrics and SLAs.
· Identify process and technology improvements that can be leveraged across regions or globally within AP and help drive implementation.

The right candidate will be independent and flexible with solid data analysis and intelligence skills, communication skills, customer focus and extensive experience in project delivery, process design and documentation. The candidate must have demonstrated sound business judgment and able to think strategically about a quickly growing business while at the same time have the analytical ability and intelligence to dive into the tactical details.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years experience in program or project management
· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
· 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skill.
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
Examples of using data analysis and intelligence to help drive business process design, re-engineering or transformation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience defining KPIs and operational metrics
Examples of delivering results through operational excellence and process improvement methodology such as six sigma or kaizen
Demonstrated ability to stay organized and meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements.
Green Belt, Black Belt or Similar Certification
Understanding of international payment rules and regulations
