Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will be –
- Responsible for quality, cost and delivery requirements for New product Induction programs, Manufacturing and design transfers and Productivity programs in a global environment.
- Accountable for program management starting from program definition and product launch of NPIs and Transfer programs.
- Work closely with systems engineering teams and service teams globally to define product requirements and responsible for program deliverables meeting customer requirements for X-ray Generation sub systems- Tubes, Generators, power sub systems.
- Ensure cross functional engagement throughout the program execution through effective communication.
- Responsible for driving operational rigor through regular program reviews.
- Work closely with senior leadership in setting the technology strategy and direction with Product Management, Chief Technology Officer and other senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems, products, and processes to enable execution of that technology strategy.
- Resource planning aligning with cross functional Managers to meet the program deliverables.
- Instilling a rigorous approach to target costing for new products and driving cost out of existing products.
- Optimizing team’s participation in all phases of product development.
- Supporting and improving existing products within Manufacturing, Sourcing, Service and Supplier Quality Engineering.
Qualifications/Requirements:
BE/ME/MTech Degree in Electrical &Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15 years of relevant work experience.
Desired Characteristics:
- Proven experience in influencing skills without people directly reporting for effective program management.
- Demonstrated success at leading large teams by creating a sense of purpose, vision and mission, measured by low attrition, high engagement and positive team culture.
- Experience in precision engineering industry preferably Power Electronics and High Voltage Engineering industries.
- Demonstrated experience in New Product Development.
- Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and create teamwork across organizations and with senior leaders.
- Demonstrated supplier and manufacturing interface skills.
- Lean Six Sigma certification and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes
