The Cloud Security Analyst will develop, manage, and utilize; Cloud-based security tools, Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring, Cloud Security Architecture, Risk and Compliance management, and Cloud security controls.What you will be doing:
- Contributing to the development of Cloud-based security tools and processes to improve security posture for the Ascendon Environment.
- Leveraging current Cloud Security tooling to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities and active threats.
- Collaborate with various global teams to represent security interests and improve security awareness and posture.
- Continuous learning and improvement.
- Create, govern, and enable common technology and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’sdegreeinComputerSecurity, Computer Science,orrelatedfield
- Or prior experience in a Development or Application Security role
- 5-8 years in OO background – preferred in languages such as .Net/.Net Core, Java or Python
- Sound knowledge of all procedures, standards, and regulations for authorization and authentication, applied cryptography, and security vulnerabilities
- A deep interest in knowing latest industry advancements in software security along with implementing them.
- An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
- Perform on-going security testing and code review to improve software security.
- Provide engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with Cloud Security models and best practices.
- Good experience & knowledge in designing end to end automation system including framework/tools design, architecting CI/CD solutions.
- Good experience & knowledge in automating unit and integration testing
- Advanced knowledge of IT security concepts.
- Experience with Vulnerability Management

- SIEM/IR experience
- Familiarity with major Compliance frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, ISO)
