1)Should be having over 6 years of experience as SQL DBA / SQL SERVER / MSSSQL DBA.
2)Knowledgeable about clustering, disaster recovery, and availability.
3)Seasoned experience and skills in projects such as data centre migrations, server consolidation, DR failover/failback, server configuration management, security, audit and compliances.
4)Must be proficient in SQL and related features, including Performance tuning.
5)Thorough knowledge of backup, recovery, database/application performance tuning, and related infrastructure diagnostics.
6)Work with clients to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate data migration requirements.
7)Support Operations & Maintenance on for all SQL Server databases (Dev/Test, Staging, and Production) to include Performance tuning, STIG compliance, patches/fixes and optimization.
8)Good knowledge on Backup and recovery strategy.
9)Proficiency in SQL optimization and coding techniques to code efficient stored procedures and triggers.
10)Troubleshoot a wide range of database problems with complex interdependencies and provide/drive issue remediation in timely and professional fashion.
11)Validate and analyse data sets to ensure data consistency and internal requirements are met
12)Coordinate database and migration changes with internal teams
13)Reviewing existing migration tools and providing recommendations for improving the migration process
14)Good verbal and written communication skills, providing clear and precise instructions for complex technical tasks, manages post-outage recovery, root cause analysis and remediation.
