Skills Required
1. Design & build test harnesses for Automation Testing
2. Design/Architect test automation framework and develop the new test automation libraries; Tool – Selenium, UFT
3. Develop the Automated Regression Pack for Insurance based firm.
4. Design & execute Regression Test Pack using frontend & backend test scripts using
5. Design and Develop the Automated solution for Functional and Regression Testing for various repeatable tests.
6. Implement QA process and automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
7. Be a part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge into the team
8. Assist with test plan articulation, planning, and management of individual testing events.
9. Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance
10. Identify testable events and develop the test cases / test scripts.
11. Identify and capture test data to support the test cases defined by the testing team
12. Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring and streamline release management to QA Environments.
13. Participate in multiple meetings with IT owners, business owners and product or team members.
14. Response to technical queries Document Planning activities, Offshore coordination, Build work plan and Visio diagrams.
15. Describing Existing Automation Architecture, Participate in Design and Architecture Meeting.
16. Build and configure new interfaces to support testing activities
17. Participate in testing, deployment prep and actual deployment for both retail and commercial phase.
18. Work experience on US Insurance domain knowledge
19. Strong experience in managing automation test projects
20. Expertise in Selenium, Built automation framework from scratch to aid with regression and other repeatable tests
21. Team lead experience with offshore – onshore model
22. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs
23. Client facing with strong written and verbal communication
24. Strong programming and analytical skills
25. Strong experience on Automation tools like UFT, Selenium -java and exposure with other tools will be an added advantage.
26. Should have experience on setting up Testing COE
27. Web services Automation SOAP and REST
28. Understanding on security and performance testing
