The Senior Manager, Brand Protection Technology (Product Security) role works across the Johnson & Johnson enterprise and owns the evaluation, development, and implementation of product security solutions to combat illicit trade (i.e. counterfeits & illegal diversion) with specific focus on protecting patient safety and reclaiming and growing the business. These security solutions enable quick and accurate authentication of our product packaging to identify illicit products and can ultimately lead to civil and criminal investigations to catch the bad actors. The Global Brand Protection team reports into the Johnson & Johnson Law Department.

- Product ownership of product security capabilities by chartering projects, crafting the solution sets, establishing proof of concepts and then championing the implementations and sustaining the operational aspects.
- Research and assess new, innovative suppliers in the global anti-counterfeiting and illicit diversion product authentication and detection marketplace.
- Align cross-functional teams around common measurable goals, while engaging senior business leaders and sponsors throughout the capability development process.
- Continuously thinking about improving efficiency and ensure that the full business value is realized.

Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, and MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of 8 years professional work experience.
- Experience working in Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, and/or Consumer Health participates is required.
- A strong packaging, supply chain, Legal and/or commercial (sales/marketing) knowledge is required.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to pull out relevant data points to recognize trends and craft a story which advises and influences business decisions.
- A strong bias for results and solutions is required. Other key skills include the ability to influence both senior leaders and line management without formal authority, be detail-oriented while maintaining a big-picture perspective and maintain flexibility in a multifaceted environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills especially with decentralized and culturally diverse organizations is required.
- Self-direction, ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, and the ability to prioritize demands in a global, fast-paced, changing environment.
Preferred:
- Global experience managing and leading people / multi-functional teams to achieve objectives, either formally or informally both internally and externally to the company.
- Prior work history in brand protection, quality / compliance, supply chain, or product security investigations and enforcements.
- Experience related to product risk / threat analysis.
- Secondary market (gray market) understanding.
- Understanding of key relevant business processes of distributors, hospitals, manufacturers, healthcare solution providers, supply chain partners (converters / printers; third-party logistic providers), and importing / exporting / free-trade.
Other:
- Up to 25% overnight international and domestic travel required.
