As a VMware Administrator, Responsible for maintaining thevirtual infrastructure hardware, operating systems, and VMs on servers, whichsupport business-processing requirements, Maintain reliable, secure and highperforming systems in a multi-domain, multi-site Windows Active Directoryenvironment that consists of Database servers, VMware vCenter 5.5, and Windows2008/2012 servers. Hands-on in Migration Projects
– Experiencewith VMWare Vcenter 5.x or VMWare vCenter 6.x.
– Experiencewith Microsoft’s Windows Server 2008/2012
– Maintain,upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare vCenter infrastructure.
– Maintain,upgrade, and implement improvements to the VMWare ESXi infrastructure.
– MaintainVM templates for building servers in the virtual environment.
– Proactivelymonitor event logs for changes or errors and take appropriate actions toresolve issues.
– Manageavailable virtual and storage resources within the infrastructure environment.
– Collaboratewith team members to resolve problems.
– Performupgrades to operating systems and layered software packages (ie. VDIcomponents, Windows services, or other enterprise apps) as necessary.
– Createand maintain system documentation for updates made to the infrastructureenvironment.
– Abilityto communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in orderto discuss/document technical information.
– Abilityto execute assignments within established timeframes and quality standards,while responding to immediate needs.
– Organizedand detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
– Abilityto multitask with propensity to handle urgent interruptions with poise andprofessionalism
