About the role: Assistant Manager MIS and Book Closure
Role:
· Closing of Monthly book of accounts and adhering to process as defined.
· Preparation of Management and Statutory Accounts: Companies Act, Tax Audit.
· Work with internal & external stake holders for implementing new accounting ERP systems.
· Define new processes, implement & drive the same.
· Reporting requirements with regard to Consolidation of branches / entities.
· Ensuring & implementing controls over Fixed Assets of the company & other key areas of finance & accounts.
· Set processes for GL accounting.
· Present monthly financials to Finance Head, CFO.
· Review of Books, ledgers, vouchers to ensure accuracy of same.
· Analysis of various General Ledger (GL) & accordingly define and build robust processes.
· Ensure adequate controls for accounting process.
· Ensuring Statutory compliances & implement controls overs the same.
· Review of statutory workings – TDS, GST, etc. periodically – Monthly / Qtrly / Half Yearly / Annual.
· Knowledge & Hold over Accounting Standards.
· Knowledge of Internal Financial Controls, Ind AS.
· Handle Internal, External & other audits.
· Manage various business partners like tax consultants, CA’s etc.
· Provide support on special projects and tasks.
· Review existing processes & set new processes / policies to bridge the gaps.
Skills:
· Proficient in Tally ERP 9/ERP package, MS – Excel, MS – Word is a must.
· Needs to have a drive to excel in any task given; ability to work independently with minimal oversight from seniors.
· Good communication Skills & Writing Skills.
· In depth knowledge & understanding of Accounting principles and its process.
· Clarity of thought.
· Practical approach, Solution oriented.
