Job Purpose:
Linen Club, the leading linen brand in India from the Aditya Birla Group is venturing into Womenswear apparel into premium segment. In the initial phase the offering will be into ethnic/fusion and the second phase add the western wear category too. The brand will be e com driven initially and later would go offline too.
1. To manage the end-to-end business for the WW at LCS and build the into brand that are recognized and most preferred in India
2. Strategize and build deliverables for WW division of LCS by capturing growth opportunities, identifying gaps in the business and delivering an entire concept to the consumer
3. Drive business to the maximum efficiency, in order to deliver the sales revenue and targeted Margin contribution
4. Collaborate with the various stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment of business.
Job Context:
The of the Indian WW apparel retail market is INR154000 Crs and is set to grow to INR 221000 crs by 2025. The branded apparel is currently 25% of the universe but is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14.5% and shall grab 35% share by 2025.
Linen has predominantly been considered a Men’s wear Fabric primarily due to its unavailability in the Women’s wear space. However, in recent past five years due to the entry of international brands like M&S, Uniqlo, and H&M, women’s wear western wear space has seen growth the linen and linen blended offerings. However, there is no organized Indian WW brand offering Linen Indian Ethnic/Fusion wear. The study indicated that the current of Linen& blended women’s apparels is INR 910 Cr and is expected to grow to INR2200 Cr. LCS- WW would be the pioneer in establishing this premium fabric into WW apparel space.
In order to differentiate from the other players, we will also be undertaking many initiatives to strengthen our FASHION credentials, such as focusing on slow fashion over fast fashion to save the planet, the sustainability and eco-friendly nature of Linen.

- Cracking a profitable growth model for womenswear business
- Ensuring strong partnerships with buying house and proper coordination with all third parties involved.
- Since the business will be starting up, the role holder will have to work cross-functionally to ensure the right product, pricing, fits, designs

Supporting Actions
Range finalization based on commercial viability and brand positioning- joint responsibility
- Finalization of Range architecture in discussion with Apparel head and team- documenting it and signoff from all concerned
- Sharing the range architecture with BH for working on the range.
- Finalizing TNA with BH for the range presentation.
- Initial shortlisting of designs, changes if any and redo submissions and timelines, direction to convert it into physical samples
- Status tracking of the samples
- Costing of the selections and further refining the range selected.
- Range presentation, selections, quantity finalization, COGS finalization, costing sheet approval
- Range sign-off for the season
Planning with the buying house, for timely delivery
- Ensure POs are raised on time to BH post approvals from AH.
- Finalize the TNA with BH for the planned delivery.
- Ensure all approvals required for the product to go into production take place in time.
- Submission of fit sample to the tech team & ensure timely approval
- Build strong cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless execution of deliverables as per the LCS calendar
- Coordinate with E com team regarding the requirement and timely delivery
Systems
- Product code generation, System entry, ensuring the stock availability in the system, billing, maintain the MIS for business, reporting the MIS
Analytics
- Analyze sales data for fast sellers, Fast sellers and its price brackets, sharing inputs for the new range working, reordering/replenishment orders, stock ageing,
Qualifications:
MBA,Bachelor of Fashion Technology
Minimum Experience Level:
8-12 Years
