The Role Responsibilities

  • Computation of statutory tax liabilities with respect to Income Tax by way of Advance Tax and self assessment Tax and ensuring timely remittance.
  • Preparation of Tax Memo for Current and Deferred Tax provisions at year end.
  • Preparation and filing of Income Tax Return along with relevant Forms.
  • Working closely with auditors in preparation and filing of Tax Audit Report and TP Report.
  • Computation of Tax provisions (current and deferred) for IFRS books. Preparation of periodical IFRS pack and Tax Risk report.
  • Computation of TDS liability and ensuring timely remittance of the same.
  • Filing of TDS returns within the statutory due date and generation and despatch of TDS certificates in Form 16A.
  • Reconciliation of TDS receivable amount as per books with Form 26AS to finalise TDS credit.
  • Periodical Reconciliation of WHT receivable from overseas entities and ensuring receipt of WHT certificates within requisite time.
  • Computation of ineligible Foreign Tax Credit and accounting the same.
  • Working with auditors (statutory and internal) and providing details and schedules as may be required by them for audit closure. Collation of details and documents and preparation of data for income tax assessment.
  • Review of documents submitted for payment to overseas vendors and ensure correctness. Preparation of Form 15CA for making foreign remittance.
  • Preparation of TP margin schedule on a monthly basis. Assisting by preparation of data required for APA submissions.
  • Assisting in liability computation, return filing and report preparation under GST on need basis.
  • Preparation of EUC, EORF and other risk assessment related files. Reconciliation of Tax General Ledgers on a monthly basis and submission of FCS for these GLs on a quarterly basis. Preparation and advising GL entries on the outcome of relevant tax related transactions.
