Job Description
Role: L1 / 1.5 Ops Tech & Team Lead
Location: Bangalore
Who are we looking for
A Team – Tech & Team lead to manage & drive Multi skilled L1 Operations team members & processes by using optimized, data & tool driven measures who is equally skilled at ZCS or ZCP level for Zabbix tool management and aware of patching through BigFix tool.
Technical Skills:
Zabbix Certified Specialist / Zabbix Certified Professional – L2 level tool skill on Zabbix tool administration, Add and remove monitoring elements across the estate, Patch updates related to the Zabbix tool, Zabbix license management, Liaison for other teams for Incident resolution etc.
Knowledge on cloud and Cloud watch
L2 level knowledge on any of the combination areas – OS (Windows & Unix), DB, Storage, Backup & restore, AWS.
Demonstratable skills in running internal projects like auto-ticketing enablement, reduction program, Left shift etc.
Positive outlook to Problem management & Automation
Team & Tech management.
ITIL/IT Service Management across Incident, Problem, Change & Asset + License management
Analytics / Metrics driven operating.
Excellent Verbal/Written Communications
Tool Skills:
Zabbix
BigFix
Cloudwatch
ServiceNow
Other technology tools (Eg : SCCM, Putty etc)
Behavioral Skills:
Accountable for managing the team and standards in operations of the team and services
Identify, analyze events & Incidents and suggest effective problem management measures.
Maintaining documentations for the team.
Cross skilling and upskilling the team.
Maintaining an optimized delivery model.
Drive monthly reviews, data requests
Identify, Coordinate & drive enhancements & Process improvement measures.
Ensure co-ordination for Business continuity and Disaster recovery when in need.
Co-ordinating with various teams like application teams, vendors, infrastructure teams etc to enable & facilitate operations of the team.
Maintain roster, Performance management and related people management responsibilities.
Qualification:
At least 7+ years of work experience in ITSM based service management organizations
Certifications:
Zabbix Certified Specialist / Zabbix Certified Professional (Mandatory)
ITIL Certification (Preferred)
Certification in Tech areas (MCSA, CCNA, RHEL etc) are an added advantage.
