Job Description Who are we looking for A high-level Windows/VMware Administrator to manage Windows, VMware & AWS Cloud environment. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technologies. At least 5-7 years of work experience in administration & designing of Wintel infrastructure. Education qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate (B.E./B.Tech/BSc/)(MSc/MCA) or equivalent Technical Skills: Advance knowledge in following areas / tools is mandatory. o Server Operating systems including its roles and features.  Win2K8 – Win2K12 R2 o Server Hardware  DELL, HP & IBM servers (Tower, Rack and Blade servers) o Virtualization technologies [ optional ]  Microsoft Hyper-V, vMware vSphere with Operations Management o BigFix o HP Management tools such as HPOM, HPSA, etc. o Powershell v3-v5, Microsoft System Center suite o Patch Management tools: BigFix etc. o Server monitoring tools: BMC Patrol, NetiQ, SolarWinds, Nagios etc. o Backup tools: NetBackup, Advance knowledge in developing LLD & POC for a given project requirement. Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs Advance knowledge of Server hardware & operating systems. Good understanding of Storage, Backup & Networking Concepts. Need to be able to manage high severity incident & critical / complex change tickets. Innovation for man hour reduction. Advance knowledge in scripting and automation. Disaster recovery planning and execution. Providing capacity planning inputs. Advance knowledge in doing assessment of server infrastructure and identify risks and areas to optimize. Should have windows administration skills in 2003 /2008/2012,2016 Responsible for windows server installation, maintenance, monitoring, data backup & recovery, security & administration. Experience working with MS identity technologies including AD, Windows file services and group policies. Strong knowledge & experience in handling Group Policy Object (Microsoft Windows) and Microsoft Identity Manager. Good understanding of AD environment with multiple sites and distributed geographical locations. Having good exposure on troubleshooting of AD replication, DNS, DHCP issues. Strong knowledge on NTFS and File &Folder securities. Strong knowledge on windows cluster is desirable. Experience in VMware VCenter & ESX/ ESXi servers, Network and storage devices. Experience in DRS, HA, VDS, VMware converter, P2V , V2V migrations. Experience in deploying VM and knowledge about clones, snapshots and templates. Strong hands-on experience with vSphere Standard and Distributed Switches Should have hands on experience on VMware vCloud administration such as, Installation, configuration and troubleshooting. Monitoring of VMware Host and guest for performance and availability . Knowledge on PowerShell or PowerCli will be an added advantage. Experience with Iaas cloud computing such as Azure. Enable Role Based Access Control (RBAC) for IaaS resources. Deploy and manage IaaS resources. Process Skills: Advance production support exposure and experience. Knowledge of Project Management and Operations Management Advance communication, troubleshooting and analytical skill. Good exposure to ticketing tools and understanding of Quality & ITIL process. Knowledge management & Escalation management for the team. Execute service improvement plans related to Wintel infrastructure. Creating Implementation guides, Standard Operating Procedure, known error records & knowledgebase articles Behavioral Skills : Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction Good service orientation, interpersonal effectiveness & client interaction skills. Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project. Grooming of team members on various aspects of technology and client requirements. Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity. Certification: o Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE on Windows 2012 & later), .
