• Spinning up of cluster on Redshift and doing re activities based on requirement.
• Monitoring cluster console of redshift and abort queries if it is taking more time based on End
user request.
• providing weekly redshift maintain details like vacuum analyser, delete, sort and deep-copy
• User management like creating Roles/Groups, databases, Schema’s, user’s and providing access accordingly.
• Work experience on cluster reboot on redshift environment.
• Work experience on redshift DR from East to West migration.
• Worked on incidents and change request based on user request.
• Experience on SQL work bench/DB Visualizer/CLI for redshift environment.
• Performance monitoring on quires of redshift environment.
• Restoring backup tables from snapshot based on Adhoc request.
• Experience on Unload and Copy commands.
• Checking locks on tables and release them.
Knowledge on AWS services such as s3, IAM, DMS, Glue, Crawler, Cloudwatch, Cloud formation, EC2, Lambda and EMR.
Knowledge on Hadoop and Tableau will be an added advantage.
