Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Beaver, PA plant facility.
Position Overview:
To administrate and manage the departments daily functions related to financial reporting. Specific functions include forecasting, month end closing, financial reporting, department budgeting, and Capital & Fixed asset reporting.

In this role, you will:

  • Compile monthly balance sheet analysis on key accounts
  • Assist in the monthly forecasting process by compiling local forecasting models and inputting data into corporate forecasting system.
  • Assist in the compilation of the facilities annual Profit Plan and Strategic Plan.
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly budget reports and assist in the monthly budget variance reviews.
  • Work with all departments to establish annual budgets
  • Ensure that all accounting policies, procedures, and schedules are adhered to.
  • Ensure accuracy of Capital Spending projects and Fixed Asset records
  • Assist Controller on special projects (audits). Maintains SOX compliance
  • Runs physical inventory, LIFO calculation and cost roll
  • Complete Month End close and all associated schedules per Division established time periods.
  • Complete Monthly Forecast and all associated schedules per Division established time periods.
  • Complete Annual Profit Plan and Strategic Plan per Division established time periods.
  • Complete projects and analysis as needed by the Controller.
  • Maintain balance of work in process capital at an accurate level

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business and/or Finance from an accredited institution
  • Minimum three (3) years of accounting and/or finance experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • CPA
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing salaried employees
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting and planning, inventory, and cost accounting
