The Role Responsibilities
PURPOSE

  • Supply Chain Management (SCM) is transforming its risk management and process capabilities to enable new Third party engagement service offerings to its stakeholders.

The SCM ER Client Services Lead role will be hands on and be accountable for:

  • managing, coaching and guiding the ER Client Services Team
  • represent the ER Client Services team in management forums and committees
  • supporting stakeholders in the identification of accurate sourcing risk
  • ensuring stakeholders are directed to the most appropriate process for their sourcing needs
  • enabling the appropriate engagement of SCM
  • some resource availability and capacity planning
  • seek opportunities to drive automation and deliver efficiencies

The SCM ER Client Services Lead role will also work closely with the Global Process Lead for Third Party Risk Management to ensure that the appropriate processes are adhered to and any efficiencies or process improvements can be reviewed and where appropriate implemented.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with stakeholders to determine sourcing requirements and risk profile for the engagement
  • Liaise with appropriate Risk Groups and Risk Governance teams to ensure accuracy of risk identification
  • Liaise with SCM leads to identify existing arrangements for utilisation

Risk Identification

  • Understands the Banks sourcing categories and associated risks across all Risk Groups and Risk Governance teams to enable accurate risk identification
  • Understands the Banks risk framework and is able to operate in a compliance driven environment
  • Is able to understand and mandate, where appropriate, Third Party Risk Management Policy %26amp; Standards and other relevant Bank policies
  • Conducts Inherent Risk Validation and Risk Assessment in Ariba Risk to determine engagement risks to be managed

  • Displays exemplary conduct and live by the Group%26rsquo;s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge and experience across a typical Finance Organisations categories and risk management
  • Demonstrable ability to develop trusted and open relationships with stakeholders
  • Efficient and effective communication skills (written and verbal) in the English language
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba product would be beneficial but not essential
