Are you the one we are looking for
Inviting applications for the role of BA, Data Quality/Governance
Responsibilities
- Work with business partners to capture and understand functional requirements, design solutions, and draft FRDs and BRDs
- Familiarity with Basel II, III, CCAR, Credit Risk, and other related regulations
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) / VBA
- Knowledge of standard methodologies on Process Sequence, Dictionaries, DQ Lifecycles, Naming Convention, Version Control, etc
- Develop control structures within a simple environment to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels
- Designing, testing, deploying, and detailing the data quality rules and their outputs
- Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT
- Train and mentor new analysts joining the team and quality audits of their work.
- Establish process difficulty and should be a transformation enthusiast.
- Be hands-on and be able to understand technical issues and seek as needed. Build client relationships
Qualifications we seek in you!
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Knowledge of DQ standard, guidelines and best practices
- Strong understanding of databases and data structures.
- Excellent understanding of databases and data structures.
- Experience leading teams in an onshore-offshore model
- Excellent analytical, Time leadership skills, and Effective interpersonal skills
- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access
- Ability to encourage and inspire change in technology application
- Experience in SAS, Python, R
- Experience on Informatica IDQ or any other DQ tools is added advantage
- Exposure to DG tools such as Collibra
Preferred qualifications
- Prior data quality or similar level data analysis experience
- SQL and VBA experience
- Experience working in Financial services
