SSRS – Module Lead

Job Description:

  • Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
  • Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
  • Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
  • Design database backup and restoration strategy; resolve escalated recovery issues causing outages to business
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. High-level analysis of issues- database availability, performance issues, system errors, configuration errors, deployment errors and outages
  • Advanced analysis of performance issues on the server and database side and provide recommendations to the application Teams to improve performance from the applications perspective
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours. Plan, track and monitor maintenance activities- Windows Patching, SQL Server Patching, Hot Fixes, Service Packs and Security Updates
  • Final responsibility for the success of migration activities of SQL Server databases, SSAS, SSIS and SSRS along with documentation of processes and issues with workarounds and resolutions. Hands on experience in installing, configuring, managing, upgrading and migrating, monitoring and troubleshooting SQL Server 2008 R2/2012/2014/2016
  • L3 Expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)- Desirable
